Staying Alive When Shooting From “Awkward” Positions In A Real Gunfight
Why you need to start training to shoot from “awkward” positions… and how you can start today!
Adam Winch
Adam Winch spent 8 years as a military police officer in the Army Reserves and Colorado National Guard, and over 10 years as a Grand Junction, Colorado PD officer, serving as a street cop and on the SWAT team.
A certified NRA handgun and CCW instructor, Adam saw that the average gun owner and gun carrier was training for the range – not for a real-life gunfight.
His experience as a certified range safety officer through both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force ingrained in him a deep respect for effective but safe training to make sure students don't take themselves out of the game before it even starts.
Adam has been involved in multiple officer involved shootings and deadly force situations, as well as SWAT call-outs, providing him with over a decade of experience in both the criminal and civil court systems.
In addition to safe and effective firearms training, Adam seeks to prepare students for the legal, civil, financial, emotional, and social consequences of defensive firearms use.
