Benjamin Bradak

Benjamin Bradak is a lifelong martial artist who holds a 5th degree black belt (the rank of Associate Professor) in Ed Parker's American Kenpo Karate, which he has been teaching since 1993.

He is a veteran of two branches of the US military, having functioned as an army infantry close quarters combat (CQC) specialist in the 101st Airborne Division.

He has instructed civilians, military and police in two nations, and has directly consulted for both film and print on multiple occasions. He's also taught for the Counter-Terrorism Institute of America.

He's the author of Combat Applications of the Tactical Tomahawk for Paladin Press, and co-author of the acclaimed Lessons on the English Longsword and Masters of Medieval and Renaissance Martial Arts, also for Paladin Press.

He was a senior instructor in the ARMA (Association for Renaissance Martial Arts) as one of their first senior free scholars, and during that time developed and ran their historical unarmed combatives and poll-axe curricula.
