Kicks are more telegraphic than hand strikes.
It’s simply not physically possible not to telegraph them.
You have to step or transfer your weight…
…in order to deliver the technique.
Proximity also makes a difference.
A front kick is closer and less telegraphic, but not as powerful.
A rear leg kick is more powerful, but telegraphs more.
