And those of us who are “awake” are seeing the increasing signs of our freedoms being stripped away, all in the name of “counterterrorism”.
As expected, it’s easy to blame our current “war on patriots” on Obama and begin the bashing that, he’s “a Muslim”… tearing our country apart… militarizing police… and killing our freedom. But…
Is Obama Really The “Freedom Killer In Chief”?
Of course it’s easy to think so, right?
After all, he came into office as a “civil libertarian”, a liberal with strong opinions about security transparency.
But as President, he quickly continued the policies of Bush and the other Presidents before them who abuse the power of the state when it’s in their hands.
Oh, and do you think that voting in a Conservative, Tea Party darling, or any other yahoo is going to really make a difference?

Seriously?
Why would our entire Federal government see a clear trampling of our 4th Amendment rights as “business as usual” – nothing new and “justified”?
Hmmm… could it be the bazillions of dollars in “campaign favors” from a military industrial complex that profits off of CCTV expansion… armored-up police forces… and “combat dollars”?
Look folks… the writing is on the wall and this train isn’t stopping any time soon – no matter WHO we put into office.
Of course we still need to vote for the person we think WILL have our backs.
But the “machine” quickly swallows up even the best intentions – ESPECIALLY in the current climate of “the war on terror”.
