Merry Christmas From Warrior Life

Merry Christmas!

Last year at this time, I wrote a message thanking you for being part of what was then “Modern Combat & Survival.”

What a difference a year makes, right?

It’s been a year full of transitions and changes for all of us, including me personally.

We transitioned to our new lifestyle brand, Warrior Life… we put in place a TON of exciting things that will be coming at you in the new year… and we’re more committed than ever before to helping you prepare, train, and survive.

After spending some time in my life going back and forth between Illinois and Texas, I ended up moving myself (and the Warrior Life headquarters) to a state-of-the-art batcave in Florida.

After the year we’ve all had, I don’t think any of us sorry to see 2020 go… but this experience has made me that much more grateful for all of you and for my own loved ones.

Things are so different here in Florida compared to what I’m used to.

I spent a lot of years in Texas, of course, but here it’s a little different.

Sometimes I even miss the snow – but not too often.

I’m not too worried about the cold down here in Florida, either, but for those of you shivering your way through a “white Christmas” in areas farther north, I recommend staying warm with these Survival Frog handwarmers.

(That’s what I used when dealing with the frigid cold in Illinois.)

It’s a great way to use technology to solve “survival” oriented problems, which is one of the reasons I like it so much.

Much more importantly, though, I hope that despite the pandemic and all the other challenges we’ve faced this year, you are enjoying time with your loved ones and celebrating the holidays.

That’s what I’m doing – and I’m more grateful for you all than ever before.

Here’s to a much better 2021!

3 Urban Survival Myths (And The Truth About How To Survive In A Collapse!)

The going thinking seems to be that the ONLY way to survive is to flee the city. Home Defense Carbine Rifle: To Sling, Or Not To Sling?

I was at the outdoor range the other day and I saw a lot of guys rocking single point slings for their assault rifles. A sling helps us to feel all “operator” and can be of benefit in certain scenarios. But would it shock you if I told you… you don’t always need it?
