NASA and the military are keeping a close watch on Sunspot 4079 – and with good reason…
In an interview with NASA’s “solar system ambassador”, Brenda Culbertson, about what 4079 could mean for Earthlings, she stated…
“The energy from 4079 is very strong, and as it approaches the center of the solar face, it faces Earth directly.
If any major solar flares occur while it is facing Earth, we will receive a direct hit of solar energy and solar particles, setting off a geomagnetic storm.”
She also said that this new sunspot stretches nearly 87,000 miles across – a total of approximately 241 million square miles.
To give you a comparison here, the United States is just over 3.5 million square miles.
That means that this massive sunspot is nearly 70 times larger than the entire United States!
This isn’t something I take lightly Warrior… and neither should you.

Outside of perhaps 75% of those in our military, 85% of high-level elected and appointed Federal Government officials who have trained people to take care of them with the equipment and supplies the taxpayers have paid for over the years, no more than 3% to 5% of the general US population would I consider “Warrior-Ready” for the post apocalyptic world caused by total power grid destruction. Perhaps even fewer.
And once the support personnel for the government officials discover that they are to do everything they can to make sure the officials survive in luxury, but they, themselves, will not ‘have a spot in the shelter’, so to speak, the officials will quickly find themselves abandoned, at best, killed and their high-priced bunkers, equipment, and supplies taken over by the caretakers. Who will then quickly wind up destroying their own chances through lack of leadership and truly understanding just what a world without an electrical power grid will be.
As to the second question, my ‘next step’ of my prepping plan is to finalize my current decision-making process of choosing the half-a-dozen underground and/or earth-sheltered safe locations I will start equipping with the equipment and supplies to ride out the initial stages of the collapse of our society and be ready to begin the recovery and then rebuilding processes to, hopefully, have a much better society, at least for a few generations, than we currently have.
I have already done the research, taken the training, gathered most of the tools, and sourced the supplies to be able to help in the restart of our civilization and society. Hopefully, I have accumulated enough of the required consumables to last me and the groups of preppers with whom I am associated until the time to start over is at hand.
We have the necessary tools and plans to protect the group and our various locations and caches to make sure we will be able to do so. At least, as reliably as we can, barring winding up at some form of true ground zero that is simply not survivable under any circumstances.
Though I started on my prepping journey in 1962 helping my dad clean out the storm cellar on the property where we lived to stock it with home-canned food and containers of water during the Cuban Missile Crisis, and then picked things up in 1967 when I turned 14 and could start making some of my own decisions on what to prep for and how. That was over sixty years ago, and prepping, under one definition and title or another, has been part of my life since then.
The more I learned, studied, researched, and experienced the more possibilities I saw for potential catastrophic disasters that could occur without warning for the most part, the more I began to prepare for some of the things that others decided, and loved to tell me, either could not happen, and if they did happen, could not be survived.
I know better. Though again, if I catch a meteor in my teeth, I will not make it, but I will go out trying. And that includes making it through not just grid down, but a grid-destroyed apocalypse.

That’s the reason that the Sun is constantly being observed. It’s so that if an occurrance like that one comes near to the earth, we should be warned early enough to turn off all power stations, until after it passes.
Just turning it off will not protect your electrical devices. They need to be put into high quality EMP bags or cases that protect them from high powered solar flares or EMP attacks. I have two pretty good sized go bags, one for communications and other EMP sensitive devices and one for basic survival. All items in the comm bag are packed in double zip locked EMP bags. In a really strong solar flare, the energy is strong enough to travel down wiring enter your devises and destroy them, weather they are on or off.

In talking with these other warrior guys they said to have a diesel truck because it will not be affected by the flare? Is that true? I have a 2005 chevey silverado creww cab diesel.

Modern diesel engines have computers now too. Electronic fuel injection. You should have a service manual to be certain.
They have to be older than 1983 to be EMP resistant.
But anything that is in the truck which is controlled by electronics, will be hurt/
while your engine may not be, How would you know if the car ahead of you is stopping when its brake lights don’t come on. How many people will you RAM into before you stop?

I have a solar system and batteries if I disconnect it from the grid would that save my batteries??
Can it be totally isolated from a CME so it won’t kill my batteries??

So I’ve recently heard that they’ve been stealing money from the tax payers to build a large number of survival bunkers maybe as many as 200 and they are set to accept pre-approved citizens and military etc so….i guess screw us. I need meds to live so I won’t be making it.

This is such a tough one to deal with it’s a really hard question what do you do you have to remember that everything is going to run out your ability to get diesel your ability to get gas your ability to have batteries for night vision equipment at some point it will all go down then what do you do that’s the big question are you able to handle what comes after all of that quits
Dont expect any help or assistance from govt or law enforcement. Also stock up on meds, bug repellant/ screens if needed. Include batteries and the strongest flashlight you can obtain {destroys visual purple if needed for self defense}
