Ever wonder why there are exposed cables on your frame? The enclosed cables flex just a little if they are not firmly attached to the frame. Black sunlight resistant zip ties are convenient.

I have been replacing my plastic brake levers with locking aluminum body brake levers, when locked the bicycle doesn’t roll when parked less likely to fall parked on the kick stand.

There is a commercial product to increase stability of loaded bicycles it is called a click-stand. It looks like a tent pole made into a shooting stick. A lot of bikepackers use it to park their loaded bicycles. It does need a firm surface to prevent it from sinking in sand or mud.
