Why Buying Ammo TODAY Is The Smartest Move You Can Make Right Now…

Three years ago, I watched my buddies shell out fifty bucks for a box of 9mm that used to cost twelve.

Not because they wanted to…

… because they had no choice!

Meanwhile, those of us who had prepared ahead of time were sitting comfortably on a mountain of ammo bought at sane prices.

Right now, we’re staring down a golden window — one of the best ammo buying opportunities we’ve seen since pre-2020, what industry insiders call the “Trump Slump.”

But here’s the kicker…

… that window is about to slam shut!

The Calm Before The “Ammo Storm”

Here’s Why Current Ammunition Prices Are Misleading You Into A False Sense Of Safety That Could Bite You In The Ass In The Coming Weeks, Months, Or Even DAYS

Cheap Ammunition Buying Tips

If you’ve stepped into a local gun shop lately, you’ve probably noticed something unusual…

… price tags that don’t make you flinch.

  • 9mm is down nearly 60% from its pandemic peak.
  • 12 gauge price tags are looking really good!
  • Even 5.56 and .223 are all sitting at surprisingly friendly numbers!

This might make you feel like everything has returned to “normal”, right?

It’s actually not.

This isn’t some stable new baseline that you can rest your hat on.

What you’re really looking at is only a “pause” before the economic superstorm that’s about to hit the ammo market with full force

The “4-Headed Beast” Behind The Next Ammo Shortage

There Are Four Forces That Are About To Cause A Drastic Surge In The Cost Of The Ammo You Buy… And Stay There!

Being the owner, buyer, and seller of our Ammo2 bulk discount ammunition service, I get the inside scoop from multiple manufacturers about what they’re looking for on the horizon.

They all know what’s coming – and here’s what most shooters aren’t watching:

  • New tariffs on imported ammo and components
  • Rising metal and manufacturing costs
  • Election cycle demand surges
  • Increased military production diverting civilian supply

This isn’t a guess.

Industry analysts are already sounding the alarm that these aren’t temporary price bumps — they’re structural market shifts.

Just the tariffs alone could spike prices 10–25% overnight on imported goods.

And since many U.S.-branded rounds still rely on foreign-made primers and powders, even “Made in America” won’t protect you from the ripple effect.

“Panic Buying” Is For Amateurs!

Here’s Your “Secret Weapon” To Stockpile A Mountain Of Ammo – Without Breaking The Bank…

This may take a little bit of a mind-shift for you, but it’s going to save you big time…

You see, you need to think of ammunition not as a consumable — but as a tangible, appreciating asset – because that’s exactly what it is!

It holds value.
It serves a purpose.
And when things go sideways, it can become priceless. – just like gold or silver (except you can defend your home with it! ).

Instead of panic buying like everyone else, you should build your supply like an investment portfolio using “Dollar-Cost Averaging” by creating a monthly ammo budget for yourself, customized to your needs.

You don’t have to budget a lot… but even the smallest amount set aside will amaze you in how much you can stockpile – and how much you can save!

Here’s what it looks like if, for example, you set aside as little as just $25 each month:

  • $25/month = 50–65 rounds of 9mm in stable markets
  • Over a year, you’d have 600–780 rounds quietly stacked
  • In a crisis? That same stash could cost you $1,200 – $1,560 to replace!

That’s not just smart prepping…

that’s a SERIOUS “return on investment”!

Ask my buddy Mark — he started buying $50/month back in 2019… and by the time 2020 hit and prices exploded, his $600 stash investment was worth over $4,000!

That even outperformed his 401(k)!

Your Ammo-Buying “Action Plan”

Here’s My Personal Recommendation For “Investing” In Your Ammo Supply – AND In Your And Your Family’s Safety…

Just like with ANY “investment”, it’s all about timing, right?

The longer you wait, the more you’ll spend and the less ammo you’ll have in your personal “ammo depot”.

Personally, here’s what I recommend you do:

  • Build to 1,000 rounds per defensive firearm
  • Stockpile 2,000–5,000 rounds for training (and bartering, if you’re into “prepping”)
  • Focus first on common calibers – like 9mm, 5.56/.223, 22LR and 12 gauge – for the firearms you own in these calibers.

You want to focus on these common calibers first because history will repeat itself when it comes to ammo.

These calibers will be the first to disappear from the market.

Every. Time.

Especially when tensions rise… when elections heat up… or when the next conflict pulls global supply chains apart.

And when they do, the shelves won’t just be empty — they’ll stay that way.

Your peace of mind comes from preparation.

And the smartest way to do that is “automatically” – where you don’t even have to think about it.

If you want to check out what that looks like for you and your personal ammo needs and budget, you can get $25 in free ammo with a monthly subscription through Ammo2 — where you pick your budget, your calibers, and your delivery schedule.

No more forgetting.

No more waiting.

No more praying your local store has what you need when the next shortage hits.

This isn’t paranoia.

It’s smart strategy.

Be the one who’s ready — while everyone else is lined up, begging to overpay.

I read that for every live round you fire you should dry fire your weapon 10 times for accuracy training. It helps you get more accurate on the range while not spending so much on ammo for training.

You’re right Eadric… dry-fire is a great way to save on ammo by not wasting as many rounds “getting it right”.

The “rule” we usually go by is that 80% of your firearms training should be dry-fire practice… and then use your live range time to confirm those skills you worked on in dry-fire.

It really does help to plan out your skill-development this way… unfortunately, most people don’t actually have a “plan” so the range simply ends up being just a “fun trip” to shoot off some rounds rather than actually improving your skills to face the real thing, ya know?

Thanks for the tip Warrior!
