“This is going to get a lot worse for you.”
These were the words of one of Jennifer Massabki’s kidnappers as he looked her up and down – scared, bound, blindfolded, and beaten – huddled next to her fiance, Frank.
Jennifer’s kidnapper was right…
Just moments before, the Miami Beach couple was on a romantic adventure to Mexico to scout out wedding venues.
They’d only been driving for about a hour in the Mexico City traffic when Frank felt a car hit him from behind.
Coming to a stop, he exited his vehicle to check out the damage – as did a man from the other vehicle… followed by five other men who quickly ambushed the couple before either of them could even read their attack.
Within seconds, they were pulled from their rental car and thrown into the other vehicle’s back seat, targeted for ransom money from their relatives back in the U.S.

Fortunately, Frank was able to contact police and returned with them to rescue Jennifer.
