Wing Chun Techniques For Street Fight Self Defense

In some circles, Wing Chun is known as being the first martial art of the incomparable Bruce Lee. That’s a pretty good endorsement.

Wing Chun is more than Bruce Lee’s art.

Its techniques are also powerful self defense techniques for street fighting.

This variation of a Wing Chun technique uses the “Straight Blast” in a different way to win a fight.

Wing Chun punches are actually delivered in straight lines, not in a circular fashion. Just as the pistons in an engine travel in straight lines through the cyllinders as the crank shaft rotates, Wing Chun punches travel straight forward and straight back. Try punching a heavy bag in the manner described and see how your fists look like they’ve been draged over a cheeese grater; straight forward through the target, straight back to the starting position. That is how to chain punch.
